Office Furniture Installer

COMPENSATION
The majority of our projects are prevailing wage jobs, and the pay rate is approximately $30 per hour. For non-prevailing wage jobs, the pay range is $18 to $30 per hour, depending on qualifications. Paid time off, health insurance benefits, and a 401(k) plan are also offered for eligible team members.

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Deliver and install furniture on a daily route.
  • Load and unload products and furniture from trucks.
  • Utilize dollies & panel carts for product movement.
  • Stage furniture at the jobsite in preparation for the installation.
  • Install modular systems furniture, align, level & wipe down.
  • Install case good furniture, align, level and wipe down.
  • Maintain communication and follow directions from the Supervisor.
  • Provide service work to ensure that furniture is operating properly.
  • Domestic travel to client sites is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Team player with a positive and respectful demeanor.
  • Good attendance record with minimal absences and tardiness.
  • Willingness to be trained and excel through job levels.
  • Previous experience working in a furniture business environment is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of furniture installation preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
